Kira Goodey Shoe Making Class at Brooklyn Shoe Space, New York City
Join bespoke shoemaker Kira Goodey in this 8-week workshop workshop to create your very own pair of thigh-high or knee-high boots.
You will be provided with all the materials to build your shoes - including an assortment of exciting leathers to choose from. Choose between high-heeled stiletto or chunky heel and platform and either a square or pointed toe. You can also choose whether you would like to make a zip up or lace up pair. You can also add other simple design element - such as a toe or heel cap. You will be guided through every step of the process from cutting the pattern to attaching the sole and you will literally walk away with a pair of shoes you designed and made by hand yourself.
Please note: If class time is missed by the student, it may not be possible to finish the shoes in the time provided. However, makeup classes can be scheduled at a cost of $350 for a half day (3.5 hours) or $600 for a full day (7 hours).
